This summer instead of hosting our annual thrift sale at the temple building, we encourage everybody to do a “virtual thrift sale”!

We all have the usual odds and ends of clothing, housewares, toys, books, sporting equipment, furniture, and miscellaneous precious items that need to be gone from the house. This year we hope you will host your own garage sale between April 1 and June 30, join with others in a multi-family garage sale, sell items on eBay or Facebook Marketplace or other online sites, or take them to a consignment shop. When you sell the items, send a check or go online to donate the proceeds to Anshai Emeth.

Or maybe you prefer to dispense with the whole sale idea, or simply take your items to your favorite charity, and send us a check or go online to donate any amount you deem appropriate to support the spirit of the thrift sale.

The point is to raise some money, have some fun, and support the congregation. Let’s get it done before June 30. Thank you!
